“I no longer know what to call home,” he tells the butterfly who knows no home and follows the scent of sweetness. “We live in abandon knowing our past and present but with no promise of a future. I know what it is to dance with demons. She was doe-eyed and dark haired. Untamable and a little out of reach like you are. In her I saw my desire and destruction. I tried to save her, only to realize it was I who needed saving.”
